Review Nourish Organic Food For Healthy Skin

Organic Body Lotion in Wild Berries $9.99 for 8 fl oz
The scent of this lotion is lovely! It's similar to strawberry fruit snacks. It has a thin texture, absorbs easily, and leaves my skin feeling smooth.

Unfortunately, I think I may be allergic to something it contains because I notice a slight burning sensation when I use it.

Organic Hand Wash in Wild Berries $7.99 for 7 fl oz
Though this Hand Wash is also in the Wild Berries scent, the scent differs from the Body Lotion. The Hand Wash is less sweet smelling, and has more of a raspberry scent. It leaves behind a faint aroma on my skin.

It's similar in texture to a 2 in 1 shampoo-conditioner. It cleanses my hands well, but isn't drying. Unlike the Body Lotion, I don't experience any burning when using it.

Overall, I would recommend the Hand Wash!

Stila Kitten Eyeshadow (inner corner, and center of the lid.)
Stila Golightly (lid & crease.)
Rejuva Minerals Mascara

Let's talk, shall we?

I feel like I've been in a bit of a mascara rut lately. I've used 4 different mascaras this month. Some I liked, but none that I loved. I still haven't found my HG mascara. I have sensitive eyes, and a lot of mascaras make my eyes feel dry or just uncomfortable.

Are you in a mascara rut, and if not, what is your favorite mascara?

Review SheAyurvedics

Face/Body Cereal $8.00
It contains lots of exfoliating grains, and can be used daily for normal/oily skin or twice weekly for dry/sensitive skin. It can also be used as a body exfoliator.

Mix 1 tbsp of grains with 2 tbsp water. The sample I received was packed in pink tissue paper. The product itself is not pink, it's a sand color.

It leaves my skin feeling soft, smooth, and doesn't dry my dry/combo skin out.

It has a somewhat herbal-lavender smelling scent.

Organic Shea Butters $23.00 & $15.00 for full sizes (samples pictured.)
Hunny Chi'le has a lovely honeysuckle scent.
Donna Dear has a scent reminiscent of cocoa butter & honey!

Both butters are deeply moisturizing, and last on the skin. I would most likely use these overnight!

They also both add a dewy/shiny look to the skin.

Lava Love Sugar Scrub $15.00
I had no idea how to describe the scent so I will quote the website "Lightly scented with  an infusion  of the legendary Tiare Monoi Flower, Ground  Organic Arabica Coffee beans"--I love the scent.

Very rough, and grainy feeling on the skin.
Exfoliates okay, and leaves behind a layer of moisture.

For me, it wasn't quite exfoliating enough as I still had rough patches of skin left after using.

Organic African Soap $5.00 for full size. (Sample pictured.)
This soap removed my face makeup well (as it claims,) but it also dried out my skin. I think it would be best suited for oily or maybe normal skin!

It lathers pretty well, and doesn't have much of a scent. It can also be used for washing your hair, but I haven't used it for this purpose. If I do, I will update!

Overall, I would recommend everything except for the Sugar Scrub, and African Soap unless you have oily-normal skin.

Review Mètamour Botanique Foaming Cleanse

I have a special coupon for my readers!
All you have to do is purchase one item, and write "VintageMakeup" at checkout in the customer comment box. At checkout, it will appear as 1 item, but 2 of whatever you order will ship! So if you were to order the Foaming Cleanse you would get two for the price of one----awesome!

Botanique Foaming Cleanse $28.00 for 8 fl oz
Let's face the facts, shall we? Most foaming cleansers are drying--especially for dry/combination skin like mine.

This cleanser has a rich lather, and cleansed my skin deeply, but it didn't result in my skin being left dry, and flaky.

I personally love the feeling of really clean skin as I don't like feeling that anything is left behind.

This cleanser has a somewhat herbal scent--I also find that the lavender really stands out.

Overall, I would absolutely recommend this cleanser!

Review Miss Stephanie's Potions

Vampire Repellent/Be Good Spray 4 oz for $9.99
How cute is the packaging, and description on the back? Adorable!

If you couldn't tell, these products are aimed at children, but perfectly fine for adults to use too. Kids can't have all the cute stuff to themselves!

Vampire Be Good is cherry scented. All of these products are naturally fragranced, (and vegan) the scent is spot on--it smells just like cherries!

Once dried the scent becomes a lot less noticeable, and smells more tart. This makes sense because I don't think most children would need to go around with strong perfume.

I believe the tartness may just be my body chemistry. Scents smell different on everyone.

Essence of Fairy Dust Fairy Attraction Spray 2 oz $6.99
Essence of Fairy Dust has a watermelon citrus scent. I mostly pick up on a sweet citrus scent, and a slightly bubblegum-ish scent, it's definitely very girly smelling.

I wanted to mention that while these scents are light, they can be built up to last longer by applying more.

Essence of Fairy Dust Bubble Bath & Body Wash $9.99 for 8 oz
This has the same scent as the Essence of Fairy Dust Fairy Attraction Spray.

As a bubble bath it makes lots of bubbles. As a body wash it cleanses the skin well, but is gentle, and leaves behind a light scent.

They even make stuffed animals of all of the characters. Look how cute Sage, the fairy is!

Overall, I would recommend all three products!

Duped - Too Faced Lucky Charms

 Top e.l.f, bottom Too Faced.
Lucky Charms is from the Too Faced Pixie Pin-Ups Palette which retailed for $32.00

The e.l.f eyeshadow is the fourth shade down in the first row of the Studio Endless Eyes Pro Eyeshadow Palette which retails for $10.00

I noticed that on camera the shades seemed to vary a lot than in real life. In person the difference is that Lucky Charms is a bit greener.

Review OHA BioActive Organic Skincare

Hydrating Mist $29.00 for 4 fl oz
This hydrating mist is best used between cleansing, and moisturizing. It provides light moisturization, and is soothing.

It has a herbal scent, and very fine mist. It's great for putting in your refrigerator to refresh your skin on hot days.

Daily Moisturizer $39.00 for 1 oz
I'm not sure how to describe the scent. It's herbal yet slightly fruity smelling. I don't like most herbal scents, but I like this one.

It has the texture of your average face moisturizer, though much richer.

It moisturizes my dry/combination skin very well.

It's not one of those moisturizers that instantly sinks in, it lasts on my skin for quite a while. I believe that has to do with one of the product attributes "keeps skin supple throughout the day" It makes my skin feel smooth & slightly more supple!

Intensive Nutrient Complex $40.00 for 0.5 fl oz

Again, has a somewhat herbal scent, but also a sea-like scent (if that makes any sense.)

It feels gorgeous on the skin, it almost feels like a primer.

It's really soothing. I had a painful, irritated patch of skin on my face, and it burned like crazy, but using this soothed it.

Although it's essentially an oil, it doesn't make my face look or feel oily. You can add a few drops of this to your normal moisturizer or use it alone.

Regardless of the many benefits such as being great for sensitive skin, rosacea, eczema, damaged skin, rejuvenating elasticityreducing and preventing the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and hyper-pigmentation---I'll keep using it just because I love the way it feels on my skin! (the added benefits don't hurt either though.)

Overall, I'd recommend everything!
