I have a couple of the NYX jumbo eye pencils aaaand... I prevent creasing by not using them :( It's very sad, but I cannot get them to work satisfactorily for me. Using a thin layer over a good primer (UDPP isn't sticky enough; I've had the best luck with NARS') and under a powder helps, but does not fix the problem. And at this point, why bother, since you can't really see the color anyway? I find they work alright as liners, though, since they can't really transfer into the crease that way. I know people love the white and black as bases, but I can't bring myself to try them out... Maybe someday!
I just got this shade a couple months ago and decided to pull it out recently and use it! I am loving it, but have also found with these they crease, as with everything I put on my eyes. I always use Too Faced shadow insurance with everything. Such a bummer that it still will not work for you. :(
I've tried it various ways, but it always seems to crease on me, and I'm not sure why because I don't have oily skin--actually I have dry skin so I can't see oily lids or anything else being an issue.
I plan to bring it back out again, and try it with some other primers!
Its such a pretty shade:)
ReplyDeleteAll I ever hear about these are rave reviews so I'm surprised to hear they crease. I think they're best used as a base for powder shadows.

ReplyDeleteIt's a lovely color! For me, no matter what I do it creases. Very disappointing because I've heard pretty much only good things about them!
