This is in the shade Rose. It's also available in 5 other shades.
Here's how it looks swatched..
& applied. (Lid)
It's a gorgeous, shimmery candy pink color.
The texture is different than any other cream shadow type product I've used. It's not exactly creamy, but it's not gel like either.
I have slight difficulty getting an even wash of color, I think this is due to the fact that it's mostly shimmer, and can be sheer unless built up. I'm unsure if this is only with this shade or all of them.
As for lasting power this creased on me unless I used a primer, but even so by the end of the day it had faded considerably.
Where packaging is concerned I think the tube is cute, but it can be difficult to dispense the right amount of product.
Overall, though I love the color, considering the price I would not recommend this product. If it were cheaper I would probably purchase other colors to see if the pigment/staying power/texture was better/different.

Hi
ReplyDeleteIt does look lovely on you- even if it does crease =)
I like to use these types of paints as a base for pigments- perhaps try that =)
-Jeanie
ReplyDeleteThanks lovely! Even so, I still LOVE the color! :)
Ooooh great idea, I'll try that!
Thanks :)
The little pink tube looks cute and the rosy pink shade is so pretty... too bad it creases. Btw your lashes look really nice!!
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely colour, shame about the creasing though! Jude xx @jadlgw

yayy another pink! I don't usually have a problem with creasing, but EVERYTHING creases on my model, TOD. I won't usually use anything creamy without a primer and a powder with which to set it. And even then, the best way for me to keep the colour creasing is to pull apart a kleenex and press it to the cream product before applying the powder shadow. hope that works for you!
ReplyDeleteI like this looks very pretty on you!

omg i have no idea where my comment went! either way, my point was that since everything creases on TOD, I usually lay down a primer, pat the cream product on top, separate a tissue and blot out some of the excess oil from the cream. Then I top it off with a powder shadow =) hope that helps!
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of Bloom before... Too bad this product didn't get a good rating. I agree with you on the price - I mean, MAC isn't even that expensive...
ReplyDeleteI know a lot of girls don't go for pink eyeshadow, but I happen to love it! It looks fabulous with black eyeliner :)
suuuch a pretty color... i love pink on the lids :))
ReplyDeleteYou're right, it's pretty but it's pretty sheer. Maybe it would make a good blush? lol
ReplyDeleteGreat review! That pink shade looks gorgeous on you :)
ReplyDeleteI have one in green. I pretty much feel the same about staying power, texture and creasing. Pink is so pretty, I want to try :)
-Harshleen
ReplyDeleteIt is cute packaging! Thank you :)
-Jude
Yes, I love the color! :)
-The Procrastinator
That's a great idea! :) I don't have particularly oily skin or anything so it's weird that things crease on me.
-Hunter87
Thank you, I love the color!
-The Procrastinator
No worries, I got it! :)
-Bri
Yes, $20 is pricey. I also love pink! It looks fab with liner or without. :)
-Maryam
Me too! :)
-Laura
It's quite shimmery so I'm unsure! :) I'll have to try it.
-Su
Thanks!
Good to know I'm not the only one who feels this way. :) Is the green one pretty?
I have never seen a cream eyeshadow in a tube before! It looks too sheer for my liking though and I don't like pink eyeshadow, it makes me look sick ):
ReplyDeleteThat blush colour is so fab with your Brown eyes- I love Bloom they are usually great- had always wondered about these, so thanks :)
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty colour on you, it's a shame it doesn't wear very well. I'm wondering if these have been discontinued?
ReplyDeleteI used these as a base for the longest time! I dont mind them as they dry to a powder finish but now Ive definitely found other bases I prefer!
ReplyDelete-Gaby
ReplyDeleteThat's too bad!
-Me, my best and I
Thanks doll! I hope to try more of their products in the future, I've heard good things about their Illuminiser. :)
-Vita
Thanks! It is a shame because I really love the color. I'm thinking they may have been, it's strange that I can't find them on the website!
-Tea
What's your favorite base? :)
Another amazing review! I've never heard or seen these before, but I do think the packaging is cute. I can understand how it'd be difficult to dispense the right amount of product, though. The color looks gorgeous, but sorry to hear that you have difficulty applying an even coat, and that it faded on you by the end of the day.
ReplyDeleteI appreciate the review. I was thinking about picking this up, but I think I'll skip now!
ReplyDeleteThe pink looks lovely on your lids!
ReplyDeletesuper cute!!! i love it so!
ReplyDeletealthough i agree it is pricey for such a simple makeup
ReplyDelete-Huda
ReplyDeleteThanks! :) The color is gorgeous, it's a shame.
-VijiiS
Glad I could save you $20.00! :)
-Rainy Days
Thanks!
-Kumiko Mae
It is cute, but yes pricey. :)
That looks so pretty on you, what a shame it didn't last well, I used to really like the Bloom brand but its mostly disappeared from the UK x
ReplyDelete-Replica
ReplyDeleteThanks! It's too bad really. It's strange that it has disappeared there, it's somewhat difficult to find here as well.
I was going to buy one of these but I dont think it was worth it. Now that I read your review, I am kind of glad I didnt buy it because I hate it when cream shadows crease easily.
ReplyDeleteThat is one of my very favorite soft pink shades. It isn't a dolly pink, you know? I'd have to carry this one along for the day to freshen up. LOL
ReplyDelete-Kimberly
ReplyDeleteMine too! Haha yes, that or layer it with a similar shade on top. :)
-Nancy
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you didn't buy it, they're too pricey to crease. :) The color is gorgeous though.
I was wondering if these bloom eye paint were worth it or not, and said it isn’t.
