Thanks L.A. Girl for sending me these products to review!
First I'll be reviewing the Glitter Addict Nail Polish in Nostalgic
As you can see it's a gorgeous blue-green with chunky blue glitter, and smaller, multicolored glitters. This is four coats.
It has a very thick consistency which helps the glitter stay on, the drying time is average. This lasted five days, FIVE days! A lot of nail polishes will chip on me after only one day. I'm very impressed!
Rather than chipping this just came off in one big chunk (with a couple of glitters left behind) which was great because I didn't have to bother with nail polish remover or ugly chipping.
Next is the Color Addict Nail Color in Urge
Urge is a lime green with lots of fine, gold shimmer. This is sheer, I'd recommend 2-3 coats.
Again this lasted five days. It did chip on the fifth day unlike the glitter one which came off in one big chunk.
The only downside with this color is that it stained my nails. For the sake of this review I didn't use a base or top coat. If you use a base coat you should be okay.
Overall I recommend these, just use a base coat with the green!

I am *obsessed* with glitter polishes, they make me so happy, love that blue one!
ReplyDeleteThe glitter polish is so nice! x
ReplyDeleteUrge is so pretty. Sometimes I forgot to put on a base coat and nail polish just stain on my nail:(
ReplyDeleteI normally hate glitter polish, but Nostalgic looks lovely! The delicate gold shimmer in Urge is pretty too.
ReplyDeleteCool. I've never seen these before. Five days is a long time! Mine usually chip very quickly too. I like both of these polishes, actually. I'm not too big of a fan of chunky glitters but this one looks cute. Great review. Thanks for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE glitter polishes, but I hate removing them. It seems the glitter just loves to stay behind LOL
ReplyDeleteThat glitter polish is amazing
ReplyDeletedidn't know they had a new collection
ReplyDeleteOhh~ I really like the green shade. Its looks so fun!

ReplyDeleteNoooooooo, stop feeding my lemming for Urge!
ReplyDeleteThey are great colours. My nail polish always starts chipping after a few days but when I use a base and top coat it does last longer.
ReplyDeleteGreat review :)
Love the glitter! Greens aren't really my thing, though.
ReplyDeleteI'm in love with the blue glitter! I thought the green was going to be more electric - still a nice color, just not as bright as I thought it would be.
ReplyDeleteI love the blue-green glitter! That's so pretty.

Thanks for the comments everyone! I really appreciate it. :) Donna, I too thought Urge would be brighter on my nails, but I still like it. Sorry for encouraging you reeree! haha :)
ReplyDeleteYou shouldn't have the normal glitter polish issue with Nostalgic because it's very thick so it creates a thick layer and just comes off in one big chunk. Literally all of it just came off. Except a few sparkles left behind. :)
Love the colors!! Lime green is always my fav =)
ReplyDeleteI don't usually go for these colors, but I sure can appreciate a polish that lasts 5 days!
