I have this in Spotlight, which is a shimmery white color.
According to e.l.f's website "3 in 1 color for your eyes, lips, and/or face!"
I've only used this on my face, and eyes.
Because of the color I wouldn't use this on my lips.
Advantages
It makes a nice, subtle face highlighter
It's only a dollar
e.l.f don't test on animals
Disadvantages
Creases when used on the eyes
Poor quality packaging
The texture, it's thick, and sticky/tacky
Overall I would recommend if you're just looking for a subtle face highlighter, however I personally would not re-purchase this product.

I have one of those. Mine has a strange smell? It's not in Spotlight though. I didn't really like mine either.
ReplyDeleteHave you tried the Fat Balms from Eyeko? It's the same concept but with better quality product! AND no testing on animals, gotta love that <3<3<3

ReplyDeleteIt's supposed to be Sugar Orange scented!
@Ginger Coquine
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried them, I haven't actually try anything from Eyeko.
Thanks for the recommendation! :)
Oh it's disappointing you didn't like it. I've got one in the colour Apricot (I think), and I use it instead of conealer. It's the perfect colour for me and no creasing. But I had heard that e.l.f. poducts are generally hit and miss, so I must've had a good one.

ReplyDeleteIt could just be the color I got, or maybe they changed the formulation? :)
Oh I didn't like this product. I agree it's thick and tacky ... It's kind of hard to blend if you use too little bt at the same time if I use just a tad too much instead of 'shimmer' I look super frosty.
