Cruelty Free Alternatives

Often times companies like L'Oreal, Maybelline, and CoverGirl will come out with innovative/new products, and it's always tempting to try them, but there's one big problem! They test on animals, and I refuse to buy cosmetics tested on animals, so I thought it would be helpful to those who also buy cruelty free, to make a post with dupes/alternatives

  1. Wow this is a great post!! It definitely informed me about which companies test on animals and which ones don't!

    Also about the orange and ginger lotion, I am definitely able to smell some ginger so if you don't like the smell of that, then I don't recommend it to you.

  3. Good job! I only wish Maybelline dream matte mousse foundation was hypoallergenic. Had a terrible reaction to that.

  5. ok heres my deal i just started useing great lash from maybelline then i found out bout animal testing and cruel it is! and if i can help it im going cruelity free, though some thing, like dove soap im sorry bout i wont change(at least right not since my mom buys it) im 22 and still live at house ok sry for long intro lol, what is the best alternative for maybellines greatlash , also i cant use wet n wild mascara it makes my eyelashed fall out, i have tried so far relvon fablash w/p, almay nouishing w/p mascara, and i would like a waterproof one too plz if possible and one i can buy at CVS, walgreens or walmart. they are close to me

    I've never tried Great Lash so I can't give you an exact dupe, but some cruelty free drugstore brands to check out are Physician's Formula, Bonne Bell, Milani, Jordana, Hard Candy, and Salma Hayek's new line called Nuance which is sold exclusively at CVS. Sorry to hear that Wet 'N Wild mascaras don't work for you, I've tried one (Lash Intense) and really liked it.
